Carlos Campos, a fellow Honduran designer, former CFDA nominee, and a very talented individual who's doing fantastic in New York, presented his Fall Winter 2015 - 2016 collection yesterday.
He showed a fantastic collection, there were a pair of jackets and a coat I loved, and that had a simplistic but well thought design. His use of neutral colors was superb, and shoes were fantastic.
His inspiration came from graphic artist Rafafans, who plays a lot with collages, and as Carlos said to OUT "his designs this season leverage the power of texture and shape to appear different depending on the viewing angle", which makes the pieces versatile and ready to be worn in any occasion. Here are my highlights:
