Day 1 mainly showed lookbooks, I can definitely say a few that stood out and that definitely needed to be shown on a runway.
Organic by John Patrick showed an "organic" collection hahaha, I mean, he's always emphasized his aesthetique in "wearable" pieces with a twist. Basic pieces with a great fundament of designed, and that's what he delivered once again. Here's a sample of what he did:
TSE showed amazing craftmanship in their use of cashmere. The cut on pants was superb. Classic and clean. Tina Lutz is doing a fantastic job.
Loved the layering and color blocking Sachin + Babi gave to their AW 2015-2016 collection. The fabric treatment and the (ab)use of blue made ita special collection. Would have loved to see it on the runway.
The only runway show I get to see yesterday was VFiles, the reunion of four talented designers joined together by Calvin Klein menswear's design director, Italo Zucchelli, and it's quite impressing what emerging talent can bring. I personally liked Andrea Jiapei Li and her work with geometry and plastic vibe. It reminded me Jacquemus for a moment...
Now, Day 2 has brought a lot of interesting things so far. Great shows, starting with Stuart Vevers collection for Coach. He upscaled the brand in such a notorious way, and definitely some of his past influences and jobs are a source of inspiration for his current creations. I can definitely see that. Leather and faux fur work is exquisite, and the jackets are a dream. Loved it.

There were also amazing pieces coming from Jonathan Simkhai, who brought basic and feminine pieces flawlessly executed in a very complex textile manipulation and layering, as well as Creatures of the Wind, who brought simple shapes, and a very original use of plaids in a very well tailored fit, great work in both shows.

Richard Chai showed a very clean collections, neutrals and winter textures everywhere, and Kate Wendelborn & Vanessa Traina's highly expected show for avant line Protagonist showed a refreshing minimalism, knit work as well as thick layered pieces, flawlessly tailored. Highly impressed in here :)

And my favorite collection today: HONOR by Giovanna Randall. It was beautiful, feminime yet with an intricate work in every piece. Volume, prints, solids, embroideries, everything was exquisitely executed. Every piece had a couture vibe. Here my highlights:
