3rd. World Fashion Geek: NYFW AW 2015 - 2016 is over!!! Days 8 & 9

NYFW is about to be over, time goes by so quickly! We've seen amazing fashion displayed for this AW 2015-2016 seasons, and on this two last days some of the most expected shows by the industry have been shown.

Day 8's highlight was definitely Proenza Schouler. Jack McCollough and Lázaro Hernández went tribal this time. Loved what they did with knits and chiffon. You can clearly see there was handmade work involved in most of the pieces. It was very artisanal and modern, just like walking art.
Loved it!

Not a fan of princesses clothing, but there's something about Marchesa that catches my attention. Extreme femininity, almost royal clothing, lots of embroideries and appliques in such delicate fabrics like tulle and silk. 3-D effect in flowers was not my favorite, but overall I enjoyed the runway show.
It had a vintage high-class feel.

Jason Wu presented a very polished, well engineered collection for Hugo Boss. Very practical and elegant pieces. Cut in pants and jackets was fantastic. He's undoubtedly a master of tailoring.
A splash of orange in some of the pieces gave me the idea that Jason wu might be working on changing Boss's customer perception about the brand. I feel he's doing some efforts to expand the clientele's target. If I'm right, he will achieve that goal for sure.

There's only one thing I will say about Michael Kors' collection. Is the best set of accesories he's shown on a runway ever. Saving dollar by dollar to buy my mom as many of them as I can!!!
